I wouldn't really call this healthy... but this is my junk food.

This sandwich is well layered. It's a bit of Dijon mustard, some un-tuna, paper thin slices of onion, two tofurkey slices (sigh), heirloom tomatoes, thinly sliced, arugula and the most delicious avocados between two slices of roasted garlic sour dough.  I'm not really into those fake vegan meat products, but they happened to be in the fridge at the time.

This is my junk food. I admit it.

It was tasty.  On the side, we have a variety of homemade pickles (jicama, onion, cucumber, ginger, jalapeno).  Mighty tasty.

Those who know me know I love the kitchen almost as much as I love playing keys.  Every now and then I get in a culinary mood of sorts.  Tonight I cook a little.  And... Life has its way of playing games with my plans. The organic farm I go to was closed today and that really screwed me up, but we'll make due.

Here are my ideas for tonight... They are always subject to change.

Sip

Lime, Jalapeno-Serano-Etc., Vodka + Pinapple

Spicy Lime & pepper infused vodka blended with frozen pineapple

Hibiscus-Ginger Vodka + Pineapple

Hibiscus & Ginger-pineapple infused vodka with frozen pineapple

Chew

Faux Soba Noodles

Fresh homemade noodles in a ginger & sesame vinaigrette with green onions & vegetables... maybe without vegetables. This is only going to happen if I have time to make more pasta dough.

PB Slaw

Kale, Cabbage, Onions, Carrots, Ginger, etc., in a peanut butter dressing

Tea Cup Veggies

Assorted vegetables, steamed in a tea cup with sauce

Questionable Chicken

Shredded chicken over assorted pickles.. maybe... A potential vegan variety for non-meat eaters... maybe...

Indecisive Pasta

Fresh homemade pasta with mushrooms in a garlic, white wine and cream sauce... maybe..

If I have time, I'll be blogging here and there about the dishes as I cook.  I doubt I'll have time though.  You never know.

The entire collection of Stimulated Remixes is now posted and available (scroll down).  Well... It's actually missing a few remixes (Jay-Z, J-Lo, Ciara, more Aaliyah), but those were kinda corny (to me).  But... I digress.  I've made just about every remix available, with few exceptions.  There are some rough mixes that I'm still working on, but they'll drop in time.
 
I've been so blessed.  These remixes have been rocking in clubs, high-end hotel rooftop pool parties, radio stations, podcasts, mixtapes, choreographer/dance videos and various stage productions around the world.  Who knew?  I didn't know.  I started these remixes out of boredom, after being stuck in Tampa and tired of making tracks.  I never really considered remixing prior, but now, after so many remixes, I can't get enough.  The beauty of the remix, in my opinion, is the ability to take something from one genre and rework it into something sweet for a completely different genre and audience of listeners.  From BK streets to Miami beach sunset chic, anything is possible. 
 
These remixes landed me radio interviews and a gang of fans I STILL DON'T KNOW.  Thats the one thing I don't like.  I NEVER KNOW WHERE MY WORK WINDS UP and who appreciates it.  I'm an artist.  I'd love to connect with the people who like my work.  It's 2014 and I just found out Phonte (Little Brother, Foreign Exchange) and DJ Brainchild rocked my Aaliyah remix on their Gordon Gartrell Radio show in 2009.  How did I miss that?  More importantly, how the hell did they get word of my work?  I may never know.
 
I would like to change this, because I enjoy sharing my work with people.  Now that this is my sole way of earning a living it has become more important then ever.  If you've seen my stimulated remix somewhere in the world, or if you heard about me via some show or mixtape, reach out to me.  I'd love to know.

It turns out in 2009, Phonte (Little Brother, Foreign Exchange) and DJ Brainchild rocked my Aaliyah Rock the Boat Remix on their Gordon Gatrell Radio podcast (THANK YOU!!!!).  I know its long ago, but... Wow.  It's an honor and a surprise to be in a playlist with my own favorites, J*DAVEY, Miguel, Dilla, Estero, Little Dragon, Atjazz and many, many more... Huh... I don't know what to say...
